Our Story
We dreamed of a more accessible future. So, we created PowerMapper.
Based in Edinburgh, we're a team of digital accessibility specialists dedicated to providing easy-to-use tools that map, test, and analyze websites.
In 1996, PowerMapper Software started with one man who saw that existing accessibility testing tools simply weren't good enough. He knew he could make a more powerful tool at a more affordable price. Armed with nothing but his computer (and a good brew), he realized his dream the only way he knew how. A year of coding later (plus a few more brews) and our one-click web testing and site mapping tool was born.
Fast forward a few decades, PowerMapper has grown into a team of driven experts bound by the belief that accessibility isn't just our mission, it's our passion. Through our dedication to innovative and flexible accessibility solutions, we're fueling a more inclusive future one site at a time.
